Fritz's Deer Lure is shipped fresh and
should be kept refrigerated or in a cool
place. Lure Shelf life is 6 to 8 weeks from the date collected, if refrigerated.
To maintain product quality take only the
amount you will need for that day's hunt. Here are some suggested methods for
using Fritz’s Deer Lure:
Drag Method:
Wet some cloth or woolen yarn with the scent in a ziplock bag. Remove from bag at hunting
area. Drag it in a figure eight pattern with the middle of the eight in the middle of your
hunting area. Hang drag cloth or woolen yarn about two to three feet high so scent can
circulate with air movement.
Sprinkle Method:
Sprinkle some drops in several areas around your hunting area. Be sure to put a few drops
on low branches near the ground to help the scent circulate.
Cotton Ball Method:
Put 4 to 6 cotton balls in a ziplock bag that is wet with some scent. Remove from
bag and place cotton balls around your hunting area and at least a foot off the ground.
Other tips:
Start each hunting day SCENT FREE. This includes yourself, your clothing, rubber
boots, gloves, drag line material, and any containers used for dispensing scent.
Avoid putting scent directly on you.
